The African Masked Weaver with its black face and yellow body (Ploceus velatus) is a resident breeding bird species common throughout South Africa at Mulati Safari Camp. This weaver birds or weaver finches get their name because of their elaborately woven nests from grass or palm leaves (the most extravagant of any birds' species)
